Job Summary
Certified Respiratory Therapist PRN responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care across age groups, including patient assessment, setup and maintenance of respiratory equipment, and recommendations for therapeutic and diagnostic modalities per department protocols. Maintains infection control, participates in inservices and quality improvement activities, and communicates effectively with physicians, nursing staff, allied health practitioners, administration, patients and families. Will establish and assist with arterial line maintenance and adhere to prescribed protocols. Eligible candidates possess an Associate Degree and certifications including ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and STABLE (required within 30 days of start). The position is based at Del Sol Medical Center (HCA Healthcare) in Sunland Park, NM with PRN scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- STABLE must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
