Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with pulmonary disorders while overseeing Life Support systems and responding to medical emergencies within the hospital. Perform all tasks included in the license practice act within department guidelines and policies. Function with limited supervision, relying on education and the guidance of physicians and supervisory staff. This role requires entry-level training and operates under the Certified Respiratory Therapist license practice act.
