Job Summary
Lead RCP on shift in the absence of a supervisor; provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders; manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management; perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis; conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments; implement patient-specific care plans; document patient care, interventions, and outcomes; respond to critical care situations and emergencies; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current
- PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
