Job Summary
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RCP I) Lead role in a high-acuity cardiopulmonary environment. Provides respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders, manages mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management; performs arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis; conducts pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments; develops and implements patient-specific care plans; documents care and outcomes; serves as Lead RCP in the absence of supervision; responds to critical care situations; collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current
- PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Desired Qualifications
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate
- ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire
- NRP certificate preferred
- PALS certificate within 60 days of hire
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 2 years experience as a RCP preferred
