Certified Respiratory Tech - PRN

Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, assessing treatment needs and developing care plans. Implement and monitor advanced respiratory modalities while educating patients and families on health conditions and community resources. Monitor, record, and communicate patient status, then assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and sterilization procedures. Respond to emergency resuscitation team calls and participate in maintaining departmental inventory levels. This role supports the Respiratory Department at UAB St. Vincent's St Clair, where the team fosters a collaborative spirit among over 4,800 employees to extend personalized care to the community.
