Certified Resident Services Attendant - Ontario

Job Summary
Deliver care based on individual care plans, policies, and procedures while supporting residents in doing the things that matter most to them. Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support, monitor vital signs, and document changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions. Assist with activities of daily living, serve meals, and maintain living spaces to ensure safety and comfort. Collaborate with the care team to provide feedback on care plans and participate in shift reports. Perform nursing care procedures, infection control protocols, and routine housekeeping duties as instructed by the Health and Wellness Manager. Complete all required mandatory training, education, and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of grade 12 education
- Certificate from an approved Health Care Aide or PSW program
- Certified in Emergency First Aid
- CPR certification
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, in the English language
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Dependable, responsible and an ability to work well with others in a team environment and independently
- Demonstrates a positive attitude necessary to meet the goals and standards of the residence
- A resident-oriented individual, whose visions and values align with those of the residence
- All offers of employment are subject to a Criminal Background Check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Health Care Aide/Resident Services Attendant working with seniors
