Job Summary
Greet visitors, answer phones, and sell Gulf Coast Bank products to current and new clientele while opening new consumer and business accounts. Provide account information, handle maintenance requests, and monitor client accounts for non-branch officers. Resolve client problems through direct action or referral, identify cross-selling opportunities via client profiling, and assist with loan processing and servicing. Order checks, operate a teller terminal, and balance the vault when needed. Adhere to security measures and regulatory requirements including CIP and BSA. Works branch hours including evenings and weekends, cross-trains on other positions, and may assist with branch opening and closing. Maintain CRB skills by passing the annual exam.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
- Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required
- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions
- Maintain CRB skills and knowledge as demonstrated by passing the annual CRB exam
