Job Summary
Develop and evaluate individual plans of care for each patient while overseeing care provided by nursing and other staff on the assigned unit. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate care, document patient condition changes, and assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as assigned. Instruct patients and caregivers on tests, procedures, and treatments; attend interdisciplinary conferences to relay nursing observations; and implement emergency responses to crisis situations. Provide annual in-services and participate in identifying training needs for nurse development. Requires CRRN® certification, valid RN licensure, and two years of inpatient hospital experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN licensures as required by state regulations
- Current RN licensures appropriate to state regulations
- CRRN certification required
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- Two years of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
