Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care per physician orders and department policies. Performs respiratory assessments, determines treatment requirements, educates patients and families, monitors physiological responses, administers medications, conducts tests (cardiac/holter, lung capacity), maintains and calibrates equipment, ensures accurate documentation, adheres to safety protocols, participates in performance improvement, and may perform other duties as assigned. Requires IL Respiratory Therapist License, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, NRP within 6 months, and PALS within 1 year; 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred. Strong communication, independent working capability, and proficient EMR use are desired.
