Job Summary
Seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CNRP) specialized in Psychiatric - Mental Health to provide patient care, diagnosis, and treatment as part of an interdisciplinary mental health team at Torrance State Hospital. Requires Pennsylvania RN license, CRNP certification, and a minimum of one year psychiatric experience.
Required Qualifications
- Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Commonwealth of Pennsylvania CRNP certification in Psychiatric - Mental Health
- Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prescriptive Authority Approval
- Graduate of an accredited CRNP program
- Documented Continuing Education credits for licensure
- Valid Medicare/Medicaid ID number
- Evidence of malpractice insurance
- Minimum of one year experience as a CRNP in psychiatry
- Experience in leadership within a mental health treatment team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience utilizing psychiatric and mental health nursing theories and practices
- Experience in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses
- Ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff and patients
- Ability to educate and instruct hospital staff on treatment principles
