Job Summary
Administers and supervises anesthesia for surgical and medical procedures as part of the anesthesia care team, including intravenous and spinal techniques, monitors patient responses and vital signs, and maintains anesthesia records. Conducts pre-anesthesia evaluations, explains procedures to patients and families, develops and implements anesthesia plans, and collaborates with anesthesiologists/surgeons. Performs procedures outside the OR per policies, and participates in post-anesthesia care unit handoffs. Requires California CRNA and RN licenses, ACLS/BLS, and NPI; operates within Kaiser Permanente policies; full-time role in Santa Rosa, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Graduate of an accredited school of anesthesia by date of hire
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (California) required at hire
- Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire
- Basic Life Support required at hire
- National Provider Identifier required at hire
