Job Summary
Conduct pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care while collaborating with operational leadership and local schools to optimize CRNA recruiting and retention. Direct staff development initiatives, oversee education programs, and mentor the Network's CRNAs, techs, and aides. Evaluate clinical performance, recommend corrective actions, and support site Chief CRNAs in conflict resolution. Requires a Master's degree, current CRNA certification, and five years as a Chief CRNA. Full-time role in Pittsburgh.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
- Current licensure as an RN in the Commonwealth of PA
- 5 years prior experience as a Chief CRNA
- ACLS Certification
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- DNP
- 10 to 15 years prior experience as a Chief CRNA
