Job Summary
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for assessing patients’ preoperative physical status, determining the appropriate anesthetic technique and management plans, inducing and managing anesthesia, monitoring vital functions, and providing post-anesthetic care. The position requires participation in quality evaluation through the Peer Review process and mandates completion of a minimum of 40 hours of continuing education every two years. Applicants must possess the required nursing credentials and licenses, including active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) accredited program
- Active National Board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA) Certification
- Active, unrestricted Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license in any U.S. State or Territory
- Valid Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Additional Requirements
- Applicant must have a valid unrestricted insurable drivers license
- Navajo/Indian preference policy applies
