Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures, including pre-anesthetic assessments, administration of anesthesia, and continuous physiological monitoring. Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams to maintain patient safety and communicate promptly regarding any changes in condition. Perform preoperative assessments, develop anesthesia care plans, and administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as appropriate. Work within the Montefiore Department of Anesthesia in a collaborative, patient-centered model focused on quality improvement. Schedule is 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm, with no call; 12s, 10s, and 8s shifts are available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
- Current, unencumbered New York State Registered Nurse and or APRN license
- Board certification or eligibility as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Strong clinical judgment
