Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA (Santa Clara, On-Call)

CRNA to administer intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics as part of the anesthesia care team; monitor patient reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia; document postoperative reports; perform procedures outside the OR in accordance with Kaiser Permanente policies; evaluate pre-anesthesia status and develop/execute anesthesia care plans in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons; conduct pre-op evaluations, explain tests and risks to patients and families, and maintain complete records of anesthetics administered; perform outside-OR procedures such as intubation and arterial line placement; ensure patient safety and adherence to departmental policies within a hospital setting.
