Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA (Santa Clara, 36hrs)

Provides anesthesia care as part of Kaiser Permanente's anesthesia care team. Selects and administers intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics prior to and during surgical or medical procedures, monitors patient reactions and vital signs, submits postoperative reports, and maintains records of anesthetics administered. Performs procedures outside the OR per policies and MD orders. Conducts pre-anesthesia evaluations, explains tests and risks to patients, develops and implements anesthesia plans, starts IV solutions, administers anesthetics, and coordinates with supervising physicians and surgeons. Participates in post-anesthesia care and ensures patient safety through vigilant monitoring and documentation. Requires collaboration with anesthesia and surgical teams and adherence to regulatory and departmental policies.
