Job Summary
CRNA provides anesthesia care as part of the anesthesia team, selects and administers intravenous and spinal/other anesthetics, monitors patient responses and vital signs during anesthesia, documents perioperative care and postoperative condition, and performs procedures outside the OR per policy, with responsibilities including pre-anesthesia evaluations, airway assessment, anesthesia plan implementation, IV administration, intraoperative monitoring, and post-anesthesia care coordination within a Kaiser Permanente setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Graduate of an accredited school of anesthesia by date of hire
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (California) required at hire
- Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire
- Basic Life Support required at hire
- National Provider Identifier required at hire
