Job Summary
Provide anesthesia services, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care, to adult patients in elective and emergency surgical settings. Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, maintain anesthesia levels, manage life functions, and handle abnormal patient responses or resuscitative care. Execute post-anesthesia duties such as remaining with patients, advising care teams, administering epidural pain relief, and managing narcotic accounting. Respond to Code Blue/Code 4 emergencies, assist nursing units with difficult IV insertions, and provide labor analgesia. Work Monday through Friday in 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts with equal call rotation. Requires CRNA certification, RN license, and Wisconsin prescriber license.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices
- Nurse Anesthetist certification (CRNA) issued by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
- Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license issued by the state of Wisconsin
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Master's Degree in Nursing
