Job Summary
CRNA role in outpatient vascular care centers across the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Long Island. Provide autonomous anesthesia care across procedures including surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management with pre-anesthesia assessment, intraoperative monitoring, post-anesthesia care, and regional anesthesia techniques. Position supports weekday schedules (no on-call, no weekends) with options for Per Diem, FT, or PT; compensation ranges from $140-$250 hourly depending on location and qualifications. Responsibilities include CNS-level planning, airway management, equipment safety checks, anesthesia administration, perioperative monitoring, post-anesthesia recovery, pain management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor
- Current Appropriate State Licensure for CRNAs
- Board certification or recertification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Insurable by medical malpractice insurer for the institution’s state requirements
- 8–12 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience; 5 years of CRNA experience preferred
- Proficiency in anesthesia equipment operation and perioperative/OR support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel up to 10-15% as needed
