Job Summary
Conduct Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist support for general surgery, orthopedic, endoscopy, urologic, gynecology, robotic-assisted, and neurological/spine cases with minimal pediatrics and no craniotomies or transplants. Manage unrestricted beeper call rotations from 5pm–7am Monday through Sunday while utilizing Cerner and AIMS electronic medical records. Perform duties in an in-house setting with a care team or independently, adhering to a Monday–Friday schedule with 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts. Credentialing occurs within 30 days, with options for emergency privileges or temporary coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Available for 8, 10, or 12 hour in-house shifts Monday through Friday
- Available for unrestricted beeper call 5pm – 7am Monday through Friday and 7am – 7am Saturday through Sunday
- Comfortable with General Surgery
- Comfortable with Orthopedic Surgery
- Comfortable with Endoscopy
- Comfortable with Urologic Surgery
- Comfortable with Gynecology
- Comfortable with Robotic-Assisted Surgery
- Comfortable with Neurological/Spine Surgery
- Comfortable with all surgical service lines
- Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Experience with AIMS Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Active North Carolina License or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- Minimum of 2 years Level of Experience
