Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Summary
Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia while conducting pre-anesthesia assessments and developing individualized care plans. Monitor patient vital signs, manage airway support, and respond to intraoperative changes or emergencies to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care across operating rooms and recovery areas, while accurately documenting all procedures and maintaining compliance with hospital policies. Participate in quality assurance audits, continuing education, and clinical training initiatives. This role requires a Master's degree, CRNA certification, and current RN license, with a full-time, on-site schedule involving rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and on-call coverage in high-acuity hospital settings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthetics program
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if applicable to facility)
- Strong clinical experience in anesthesia delivery
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Must currently reside in one of the approved locations listed above
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in high-acuity hospital or trauma center settings
- Experience with diverse surgical specialties (orthopedics, cardiology, neurosurgery, etc.)
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Additional certifications in pain management or critical care
- Experience in teaching or clinical supervision roles
- Strong background in regional anesthesia techniques
