Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Review daily scheduled cases and prescribed anesthesia types, then assemble necessary supplies and equipment. Explain procedures to patients to secure cooperation and assist with transport to and from the operating and recovery rooms. Verify chart accuracy regarding scheduled procedures, surgeon details, drug allergies, pre-anesthetic evaluations, lab data, and medical consultations. Maintain close communication with the MD and circulating nurse while ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies. Keep complete records for each anesthetic administered and respect patient confidentiality.
