CRNA responsibilities include clinical privileges-based practice, assisting with patient data collection/review for planned procedures, maintaining a safe environment, administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards, ongoing airway/physiologic monitoring during anesthesia, completing the surgical safety checklist and operative records, and incident reporting. Education required: graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
