Job Summary
CRNA provides full-scope anesthesia care under clinical privileges with responsibilities including collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data related to the patient's medical history and planned procedure; maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies; administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards; continuously assessing airway, depth of anesthesia, and physiologic status; completing surgical safety checklists and intraoperative records; and documenting transfer-of-care notes. Requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
- CRNA license/certification or eligible to practice as a CRNA
