Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesist

Provide anesthesia care as a CRNA under clinical privileges with responsibilities including data collection and evaluation of patient history, maintaining a safe environment, administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards, ongoing assessment of airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic response; complete surgical safety and anesthesia-related documentation; log incidents in the Safety Portal; and participate in expected duties as assigned. Education required: graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
