Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesist

CRNA delivers full-scope anesthesia care within Cone Health, including collecting and reviewing patient data, maintaining airway and vital status during anesthesia, administering medications and fluids, and ensuring patient safety through ongoing assessment and documentation of the perioperative process. Responsibilities include completing surgical safety checklists and intra/postoperative records, staying vigilant to safety hazards, and contributing to the anesthesia care team to support high-quality outcomes. Education path requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
