Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesist

CRNA delivers anesthesia care within Cone Health’s not-for-profit health network. Responsibilities include collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data related to medical history and planned procedures; maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies; administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards; continuously assessing airway, depth of anesthesia, fluid status, and physiologic responses to ensure patient safety; completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note); logging incident reports in the Safety Portal; and performing other duties as assigned. Education requirement is graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
