Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesist

CRNA role performing anesthesia administration and perioperative patient care within Cone Health’s not-for-profit health network. Responsibilities include clinical duties delineated by privileges, collecting and evaluating patient data, maintaining patient safety, administering medications and fluids per safe practice standards, monitoring airway and physiologic responses during anesthesia, completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note), and logging incident reports. Education requirement is graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
