Job Summary
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures; record patient histories, vitals, and updates in electronic health records (eClinicalWorks); prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment is sterilized; administer medications and injections as directed; perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens; provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and health maintenance; handle scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks; maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Skills: Excellent communication, multitasking, and patient care
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer skills
