Job Summary
Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, record patient histories and vital signs in the EHR, prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment sterilization, administer medications and injections as directed, perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens, educate patients on medications and treatment plans, manage scheduling and insurance verification, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. Preferred CMA or RMA certification and at least 1 year of clinical experience; requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
