Job Summary
Utilize personal experience with addiction to provide peer support and foster trust with clients and families. Offer hands-on support in developing essential life skills, including parenting and adult daily living skills. Lead and facilitate recovery-focused group sessions, providing education, peer support, and coping strategies. Assist clients and families by obtaining supplies, coordinating transportation to appointments, and ensuring apartments are prepared for new arrivals. Advocate for clients' needs, help navigate community resources, and promote positive reintegration. Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required; valid PA driver's license and vehicle needed. Requires varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid PA driver's license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance
- Utilize personal experience with addiction, either individually or within the family
- Requires working varied hours, including evenings, some weekends and holidays
