Job Summary
Provide peer support as a Certified Recovery Specialist within the Family Healing Center to help clients and families navigate recovery, including facilitating recovery-focused group sessions, and teaching essential life skills such as parenting and daily living tasks. Responsibilities include coordinating transportation to appointments, assisting with supplies, ensuring apartments are prepared for new arrivals, advocating for clients’ needs, and connecting families with community resources to promote reintegration. Role involves working evenings, some weekends and holidays, and requires Act 33/34 and FBI clearances, a high school diploma/GED, and a valid PA driver’s license. Location primarily Mt. Oliver with required meetings at the Main Campus in McKeesport; travel minimal. Comprehensive benefits provided; equal opportunity employer.
