Job Summary
Provide patient-centered care and support to individuals throughout the Behavioral Health Services system to assist with entry into care, support those in recovery to stay in recovery, and address needs for those considering leaving treatment. Deliver face-to-face peer support services using knowledge acquired through lived experience related to substance use to aid individuals impacted by substance use disorders. Complete 46 hours of required training in advocacy, mentoring, education, recovery, and wellness, including the Recovery Coach Academy and Ethics for Peer Recovery Professionals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Evidence of successful completion of the 46 - hours of required training in advocacy, mentoring, and education, recovery and wellness, and ethical responsibilities
