Job Summary
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Tai Chi and/or Qigong classes to individuals of varying skill levels. Clearly demonstrate forms, movements, and breathing techniques while providing personalized guidance and modifications for proper alignment. Educate students on theoretical principles and health benefits within a safe, clean teaching space. Maintain a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for all participants. Commission-based compensation starts at 40% per class, increasing to 50% after one year. Certification from a recognized organization and CPR/First Aid are required.
Required Qualifications
- Certification from a recognized Tai Chi or Qigong organization/master
- Thorough understanding of Tai Chi and/or Qigong theory, philosophy, and health benefits
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and physical limitations
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check may be required
