Job Summary
On-site, full-time Certified Prosthetist Orthotist to evaluate patients, perform hand casting/scanning for amputation levels, and design, modify, and deliver prosthetic and orthotic devices. Responsibilities include detailed patient evaluations, fittings, post-op device delivery, hospital visits for evaluations, and providing patient and family education. Role involves prosthetic/orthotic device manufacturing support in an on-site fabrication facility, involvement in referrals and physician/therapist collaboration, and marketing activities to engage referral sources and hospitals. Collaborate with physicians and therapists on treatment plans and participate in ongoing professional development within a Nordic-inspired, trust-based team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Prosthetist Orthotist by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics & Orthotics
- Master’s Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from an accredited university
- 3-5 years of experience preferred but not required
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from an accredited university
- Certified Prosthetist Orthotist by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics & Orthotics
- 3-5 years of experience preferred but not required
- On-site clinical fabrication experience
- Ability to interact with physicians and therapists and provide patient/family education
- Prosthetic/Orthotic marketing activities including visiting referral sources and hospitals
