Job Summary
Provide care to pediatric patients by fitting, testing, and evaluating orthopedic braces and prosthetic devices under physician direction; design devices based on prescriptions and patient measurements; fabricate/modify appliances; instruct patients in use and care; maintain patient records and plaster casts; confer with physicians to formulate specifications; repair and adapt devices as needed; collaborate with a pediatric care team to deliver kid-focused orthotics and prosthetics solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
- Two plus years related experience and/or training
- Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics (MSPO)
- Completion of NCOPE certified residency program
