Job Summary
Lead Pilates group reformer classes for up to 12 members using equipment such as Reformers, Springboards, Exo-Chair, and Bosu Balls. Prepare creative, level-appropriate class flows and conduct private sessions, workshops, and events as needed. Inspect equipment before each class, maintain a clean workout environment, and assist with membership sales and client check-ins. Uphold core values to foster an inclusive studio culture while promoting retail, membership services, and the "Message of the Week" to build revenue. Participate in special studio events and deliver motivating instruction across various class formats and experience levels.
Required Qualifications
- Current Pilates certification
- Experience teaching group classes
- Ability to demonstrate effective group Pilates instruction
- Energetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching style
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Punctual, reliable, and dedicated
- Focus on EXCEPTIONAL customer service
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team
- Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment
Desired Qualifications
- 500+ hours of experience (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus)
