Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a SNF/Long-Term Care setting, identify appropriate patients for therapy, coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral, collaborate to ensure quality outcomes, maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements, and obtain up-to-date physician orders.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice
- Strong communication and organizational skills
