Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a SNF/long-term care setting. Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral. Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes and maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements. Ensure physician orders are obtained and up to date. State practice guidelines must be followed. New grads are welcome and mentorship is available. The role is within Renewal Rehab/Enhance Therapies, offering professional development opportunities and immigration support for H1B candidates in assessing and delivering therapy services.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice
- New grads welcome
