Certified Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary
Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines; identify appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral; collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes; maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements; ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date. This role requires an Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program and current state licensure as a PTA, with strong communication and organizational skills; new grads are welcome and mentorship is available. Immigrant support for H1B candidates is offered, and the setting is a SNF/Long-Term Care environment with full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice
- Strong communication and organizational skills
