Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and skin puncture on patients of all ages to obtain blood specimens under supervision. Execute computer data entry, filing, and telephone communication while greeting visitors politely. Process microbiology, immunology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and blood bank specimens, including loading automated instrumentation and referring samples to reference labs. Stock routine supplies, maintain cleanliness of storage areas and equipment, and assist with sample pickup, sorting, inventory, and deliveries. Work full-time days shifts at West Anaheim Medical Center with a starting salary of $23.00 to $30.19. Current CPT I certification and BLS certification within 45 days are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Current and valid state certification as a CPT I
- BLS certification within 45 days of hire and maintained current
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical laboratory experience
