Job Summary
Prepare and dispense radiopharmaceuticals per physician prescriptions, performing quality control testing to assess medication identity, purity, and strength. Ensure all nuclear products meet regulatory standards for handling, shipping, and disposal while maintaining a clean laboratory environment. Act as a customer service liaison by resolving complaints, managing deliveries and returns of radioactive materials, and tracking inventory levels. Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and safety standards while following standard operating procedures. Work Mon through Friday from 01:00 am to 09:30 am, 35 to 40 hours per week. Requires a Certified Pharmacy Technician with one year of experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- 1+ experience in the state
- Ability to work a variety of schedules including evenings, holidays and weekends
- Excellent critical-thinking skills
- Interpersonal communication skills

- Good judgment
- Self-discipline
- Valid driver's license
- Manual dexterity for manipulating small items
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to handle standing, walking and sitting for 4+ hours with limited rest intervals
- Good eye-hand coordination
- Fair eyesight (with or without correction lenses)
- Normal hearing in at least one ear (hearing range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz)
- Ability to analyze situations
