CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PER DIEM

Assists pharmacist in filling prescriptions and inventory control, and assists patients at the counter; works under the supervision of the Pharmacist. Essential duties include filling prescriptions under direct supervision, pulling inventory, accurately receiving telephone orders, running the cash register, assisting customers, placing orders with vendors to replenish inventory, stocking merchandise, and performing other duties as assigned. Knowledge and skills required include excellent interpersonal skills, ability to count accurately, punctuality and professional attire, adaptability to expanded roles, and registration with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy; prior retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
