Certified Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technician with national certification (Certified Pharmacy Technician) needed to support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions at Hy-Vee. Provide prompt, efficient, friendly customer service, assist with labeling, insurance claims, vaccine administration as allowed by law, maintain patient information, stock and maintain pharmacy area, and uphold HIPAA/privacy and safety standards. Requires ability to perform arithmetic, use pharmacy software and systems (including C.A.R.S. ordering), and communicate effectively with customers and team members in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or clerk preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required; vaccination certification as applicable by law. Employment contingent on successful pre-employment drug screen.
