Job Summary
Certified Pharmacy Technician needed in a Plano, TX retail pharmacy to assist pharmacists with dispensing medications, process prescriptions, perform pharmaceutical calculations, manage inventory, use Pioneer Rx for processing and billing, troubleshoot adjudication issues, and compound sterile and non-sterile preparations while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and delivering excellent patient service.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
- Proficiency in Pioneer Rx software with at least 2 years of experience
- Strong understanding of adjudication processes and billing procedures
- Excellent experience handling compounding both sterile and nonsterile
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
