Job Summary
The Certified Pharmacy Technician - Front Fill is responsible for accurately picking, labeling, and preparing prescriptions for final verification, while maintaining workspace organization and compliance with safety regulations. Candidates must hold a high school diploma and pharmacy technician certification, with a preference for those with long-term care experience in a pharmacy setting. Skills in organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving are essential. The role includes participation in inventory, handling medication orders, and performing light lifting.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Pharmacy technician licenses required by state regulations and state of practice in good standing
- PTCB or ExCPT Pharmacy technician certification required
- Reliable
- Able to work at a moderate speed
- Able to work during inclement weather
- Able to physically perform light lifting
Desired Qualifications
- Previous work experience in a pharmacy setting preferably long-term care
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Good organization/Attention to detail
- Analytical/Problem solver
