Job Summary
Pharmacy Fill Technician in a Long Term Care Pharmacy prepares prescriptions for final verification by a pharmacist at our Franklin, TN location. Responsibilities include pulling/picking medications, accuracy checks of final preparation, filling daily drug orders efficiently under pharmacist supervision, assisting with returns and recycling, pre-packing medications, labeling and stocking, ensuring HIPAA and regulatory compliance, maintaining clean workstation and stock levels, alerting the pharmacist to scanning issues, preparing prescriptions for delivery, handling wholesaler orders, minimal non-sterile compounding, quarterly inventory participation, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires High School diploma or equivalent, state licensure for pharmacy technicians, PTCB or ExCPT certification, and ability to work in a team with strong attention to detail; offers comprehensive benefits for full-time employment including health/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, PTO, 401(k), and more.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy technician licenses required by state regulations and state of practice in good standing
- PTCB or ExCPT Pharmacy technician certification required
- Previous work experience in a pharmacy setting preferably long-term care
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Able to work at a moderate speed
- Able to work during inclement weather
- Reliable

- Able to physically perform light lifting
