Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) needed to support CMOP operations for the VA facility in Cheyenne, WY. Responsibilities include prescription processing (reading, interpreting, and entering prescription data), data entry for prescription fulfillment, call center support handling patient and provider calls with oral disclosures in electronic health records, medication management including refills and renewals, clerical tasks (processing patient letters and provider database entries), quality and safety duties (reporting medication errors, participating in QA, reviewing medication histories and compliance), and operating pharmacy automation and office equipment. Requires PTCB certification on onboarding or within six months, minimum six months pharma experience or graduation from an academic technician program, HS diploma or GED, basic typing/PC skills, English fluency, and VetPro credentialing ability. Must be able to sit/stand/walk, lift up to 50 lbs, 20 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, and push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
