Job Summary
Dispense medications and process prescriptions accurately under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or Pharmacist-in-charge while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Manage pharmacy software and medication systems, handle occasional lifting of supplies, and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ensure compliance with CEU requirements and maintain current CPR certification. This full-time role includes Monday through Friday hours, no weekends, and ten paid holidays. Candidates must hold certification from an accredited training program and possess two to three years of experience, preferably in an outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of coursework and graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician training program
- National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Current CPR certification
- Proficient in computer and typing skills
- Ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Occasional lifting and moving of supplies and medications
- Standing for extended periods during shifts
- Monday 7a-7p, Tuesday- Thursday 8a-5p, Friday 8a-1p
Desired Qualifications
- current registration with the State of Ohio
- 340B Experience/Training
- Certified Immunizing Technician
- 2-3 years' experience, preferably in an outpatient setting
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and medication management systems
- Ability to meet CEU requirements as stipulated by certification or licensure
