Certified Pharmacy Technician role (onsite in Pittsburgh) handling data entry for prescriptions, serving as a point of contact for provider communications, and resolving issues across pharmacy teams. Responsibilities include processing electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions per Blink protocols, conducting warm transfers for provider calls, and ensuring call context is established. Requires active PA Pharmacy Technician licensure or eligibility, PTCB/NHA certification, 6+ months of pharmacy technician or related experience, strong phone presence, attention to detail, and ability to learn complex software. Schedule is full-time with evening availability and rotating shifts; location at 5 Penn Center West, Pittsburgh, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months prior Pharmacy Technician, or similar industry experience required
- PTCB or NHA certification required prior to joining
- Licensure: Must hold an active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license or be willing to obtain and have it approved prior to start date.
- Professional phone presence in a support/service capacity
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software
- Competent in basic pharmacy calculations
